When you think of NPR, you probably think of breaking news rather than code. Yet every week, NPR reaches 60M+ listeners via some pretty advanced tech across a bunch of platforms like smart speakers, social media, podcasts, and apps.
IRT first engaged with NPR to help the mobile product team bring NPR One to more listeners. NPR One is the organization’s signature app – a Pandora-like experience for listeners to get on-demand stories, news, and podcasts on their phone whenever and wherever they choose.
Most recently, we were part of a team working on the next generation of NPR One for iOS. We also supported the development of the app for Xbox, Samsung TV, Tizen, and Android TV.
